Speech and Language Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our award‑winning Specialist Multi Academy Trust across multiple campuses in Aylesbury. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence‑based therapy that supports pupils with autism, SEMH, and a wide range of communication needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist, evidence‑based interventions for pupils with diverse speech, language and communication needs.
• Assess, plan and implement outcome‑focused therapy programmes.
• Embed communication strategies across the curriculum to improve learning access.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and external professionals for a holistic approach.
• Support pupils with ASC, SEMH and complex communication needs.
• Contribute to staff training and promote a whole‑school communication approach.
• Help shape and develop the growing therapy service within the Trust.

Required profile

• Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration and RCSLT membership.
• Experience supporting children and young people with ASC, SEMH and complex communication needs.
• Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Passion for improving outcomes for children and young people.

Required skills

• Evidence‑based therapeutic techniques for speech, language and communication disorders.
