Speech and Language Therapist – SEND Schools (Full‑time/Temporary)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified Speech and Language Therapists to support children and young people in SEND schools across the South East and East of England. You will work directly with pupils, helping them develop communication skills that enhance both academic achievement and social interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan and deliver individualized speech and language therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop therapy programmes, set targets and monitor progress.
• Produce reports and documentation as required.
• Provide advice and training to school staff to create communication‑friendly environments.

Required profile

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Experience working with children and young people, preferably in SEND settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to schools across the South East and East regions.
