Speech and Language Therapist – Term‑Time (Band 7)

About the role

An outstanding specialist school in Kingston upon Thames is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join its on‑site therapy team. The role involves delivering high‑quality therapy to children and young people aged 2‑19 with complex physical, health, learning and communication needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual, group and classroom‑based speech and language interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and produce professional reports.
• Contribute to staff training and share best practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with education and therapy professionals.

Required profile

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Post‑registration training in Makaton and AAC.
• Dysphagia experience.
• Experience working with children and young people with complex needs.
