Speech & Language Therapist (Band 7) – Full-time

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑known college that supports young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities. The role is for a Speech & Language Therapist (Band 7) to join a multidisciplinary team in Kingston, delivering person‑centred communication and swallowing interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess communication and swallowing needs of students with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
• Promote a total‑communication approach across the college.
• Support and train staff teams on communication strategies.
• Collaborate with education and therapy professionals within integrated services.

Required profile

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist, HCPC registered.
• Experience or strong interest in learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Passionate about person‑centred, functional practice.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Qualified in dysphagia.
