Speech & Language Therapist – SEN Schools (West Surrey)

About the role

Join a network of West Surrey SEN schools as a Speech and Language Therapist, delivering specialist support to children and young people with communication needs. You will work closely with teaching staff, families and multidisciplinary teams to enhance pupils' speech, language and overall learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and support pupils with speech, language and communication difficulties.
• Design and deliver individual and group therapy programmes.
• Provide targeted support for pupils with ASC, SEMH and complex learning needs.
• Contribute to EHCP targets and participate in review meetings.
• Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, families and external professionals.
• Develop practical strategies to promote effective communication across the school environment.

Required profile

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN in educational or clinical settings.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
