SPLD Study Skills Tutor – Support Students with Autism

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SPLD Study Skills Tutor to join the academic support team at University College London. The role focuses on helping students with autism and specific learning difficulties develop effective study strategies and achieve academic success.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Guide students in using effective study techniques and monitor their progress.
- Adapt learning plans regularly based on assessment outcomes.
- Collaborate with university staff to ensure a cohesive support approach.
- Utilise online teaching technologies to enhance learning experiences.
- Create engaging, personalised learning materials for diverse learning styles.
Required profile
- Proven experience working with students who have SPLDs and autism.
- Valid membership with PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE, or The Dyslexia Guild (Associate, Member, or Fellow).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student achievement.
