Sponsorship Officer – Renewable Energy

About the role

The Sponsorship Officer will support Scottish Renewables in growing and managing its sponsorship programme. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Sponsorship, you will act as the main liaison for sponsors, ensuring they receive value and helping to generate commercial income for the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Administer sponsorship agreements and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Coordinate sponsor benefits across conferences, exhibitions, networking events and awards.
• Support sponsorship sales activities and identify new commercial opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, reports and renewal documentation.
• Work closely with the Events Team to integrate sponsorship activity into all events.

Required profile

• Experience in sales support, partnerships, sponsorship or a customer‑facing role.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and interest in revenue generation.
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and a proactive, opportunity‑focused mindset.
