Squad Lead – Associate Manager, Project Management

About the role

The Squad Lead / Associate Manager Project Management will drive the delivery of a core IT platform for a government authority. Working in a hybrid setting, you will coordinate design, build, testing and stabilisation across multiple environments while ensuring alignment with programme timelines and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Authority to define deployment timelines for each Programme Increment and ensure compliance with governance rules.
• Maintain transparent communication across groups delivering individual Programme Increment elements.
• Own the end‑to‑end deployment of the primary IT platform, covering Factory, SIT, Pre‑Production and Production environments.
• Collaborate with the Technical Lead and Programme Manager to keep Agile delivery artefacts aligned with project requirements.
• Lead daily stand‑ups, manage sprint outcomes, engage directly with clients and resolve cross‑team dependencies.
• Guide the Development Squad, remove blockers and act as the main liaison between the squad, Project Managers and the Business Ambassador.

• Execution‑focused with ownership of daily stand‑ups and sprint delivery.
• Proven ability to facilitate resolution of impediments and blockers.
• Accountable for delivering core‑IT platform architecture, build and stabilisation across environments.
