Staff Nurse – Outpatients (CDC)

About the role

Join the Outpatient Team at Crawley Hospital as a Staff Nurse within the CDC. You will support both face‑to‑face and virtual consultations, first‑line investigations and ongoing treatment for patients across a range of medical and surgical specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to outpatients in specialties such as Ophthalmology, Urology, ENT, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Breast and Cardiology.
• Conduct clinical assessments, support investigations and coordinate virtual consultations.
• Work collaboratively with Health Care Assistants, Nurse Associates, Sisters, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Senior Sisters.
• Adhere to Trust values and deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.
• Follow a rota that may include weekdays, evenings and weekends, with shift patterns of 8‑6 pm (three days) and one 8‑5.30 pm shift.

Required profile

• Qualified Staff Nurse (registered) with enthusiasm, motivation and flexibility.
• Positive attitude, hardworking and able to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to upholding Trust values and delivering excellent patient care.
