Staff Nurse – Ward (Full‑time)

About the role

Join Ramsay Health Care UK as a Staff Nurse on the surgical ward at Mount Stuart Hospital in Torquay. You will provide high‑quality, patient‑centred nursing care, working within a supportive team that values safety and continuous learning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on a busy surgical ward.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medication and treatments safely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Promote a safe environment by adhering to the “Speaking Up for Safety” programme.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Previous experience working on a surgical ward.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible, positive attitude and strong empathy for patients.
