STEM Teacher (QTS) – Maths, Science & Computer Science

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting qualified STEM teachers to support secondary schools across the Midlands. The role focuses on delivering lessons in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science and Computer Science to secondary‑age students. Both supply and long‑term placement options are available to match your experience and career goals.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned STEM subjects (Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science, Computer Science) to secondary students.
• Provide flexible supply work or long‑term placement as required by partner schools.
• Support schools in delivering high‑quality STEM education across the Midlands.

Required profile

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent UK secondary teaching experience.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Holds, or is willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Has the right to work in the UK.
