Stone Fixer

About the role

Our client is seeking experienced Stone Fixers to join a short‑term restoration project in Virginia Water, Surrey. The role involves hands‑on work repairing and repointing stone and render surfaces on historic and modern structures.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out stone restoration, repair and repointing tasks.
• Perform render repair and related masonry work.
• Maintain site safety standards and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Work to agreed schedules and ensure high‑quality workmanship.

Required profile

• SSSTS accreditation.
• Valid CSCS skills card.
• Full PPE and IPAF 3a/3b certification.
• Strong time‑keeping and willingness to work on a self‑employed basis.

Required skills

• Stone fixing and restoration.
• Render repair.
• Repointing techniques.
• Operation of IPAF 3a/3b equipment.
• CSCS card usage.
• SSSTS knowledge.

What we offer

• Contract work through CIS or self‑employment.
• Weekly payments.
• Project duration of approximately 6‑8 weeks.
• Rate of £35 per hour (CIS/PAYE Umbrella) – equivalent to £26.36 per hour PAYE direct.
