Storage Sales Specialist – Public Sector

About the role

HPE is seeking a driven Storage Sales Specialist to grow its public‑sector business. You will work primarily onsite at partner or customer locations, shaping high‑value storage solutions for complex government and defence accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and close new business opportunities within the public sector.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline aligned with account strategies.
• Develop pursuit plans and collaborate closely with account managers and partners.
• Establish trusted, consultative relationships with C‑level stakeholders.
• Lead proposals, negotiations and deal closures while providing technical expertise.
• Drive renewals and expansion opportunities in mid‑sized, complex accounts.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking using CRM tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 5‑8 years of advanced sales experience, ideally in public‑sector storage or enterprise IT.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of public‑sector challenges and defence vertical (preferred).
• Experience taking deals through the full sales lifecycle.
