Store Assistant – Retail Team Member

About the role
Join Aldi’s busy store in Portishead as a Store Assistant. You’ll be at the centre of daily operations, helping to keep the shop running smoothly and delivering a friendly experience for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service on the shop floor.
- Receive deliveries, stock shelves and ensure product quality.
- Maintain high merchandising standards and a tidy store environment.
- Operate the till accurately, handling cash and card transactions.
Required profile
- Friendly, approachable and ready to support both customers and teammates.
- Hard‑working, able to stay on your feet and handle a fast‑paced environment.
- Reliable, flexible and willing to work varied shift patterns.
Required skills
- Basic numeracy for cash handling and till operation.
