About the role
Join Barnardo's as a Store Associate and help drive sales for the UK’s largest charity retailer. Working part‑time on a fixed‑term basis, you will support the store manager in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high visual standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers, answer queries and promote products.
- Maintain store presentation, merchandising and stock levels.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Support the manager with daily operations and step in to supervise when required.
- Help achieve sales targets and contribute to fundraising goals.
Required profile
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Enthusiastic, reliable and able to work well within a team.
- Willingness to learn retail procedures and leadership skills.
Required skills
- Customer service experience.
- Basic cash handling and POS operation.
