Store Manager – High Street Retail (Clapham)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a popular on‑trend high‑street retail store in Clapham, London. You will be responsible for creating an exceptional in‑store experience, driving sales performance and inspiring a large team to deliver outstanding customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a multi‑million turnover store team, setting standards of excellence and customer service.
• Drive sales, KPI performance and implement bonus schemes to achieve targets.
• Control costs, manage budgets and produce weekly financial and staffing reports.
• Oversee visual merchandising, stock control and ensure optimal product presentation.
• Handle HR duties including recruitment, training, coaching and development of associates.
• Maintain store discounts, employee benefits and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a high‑street retail store with multi‑million turnover.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills, able to inspire and develop a large team.
• Excellent customer‑service mindset with a focus on delivering the ultimate shopping experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt quickly to changing demands.
