Store Manager – High‑Volume Retail – Cambridge

About the role

Lead a high‑performing store for one of the UK’s leading retail organisations in the Cambridge area. This senior, hands‑on position gives you full ownership of a high‑volume outlet, driving commercial performance while maintaining exceptional standards and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Take full accountability for store performance, sales, productivity and profitability.
• Lead, coach and develop the management team and wider store staff.
• Analyse KPIs and use data to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure high standards of merchandising, stock control and customer service.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven management experience in fast‑paced retail (grocery, discount, convenience, high‑volume) or hospitality (restaurants, pubs, hotels, quick service, leisure).
• People‑focused with a passion for developing colleagues.
• Commercially astute, comfortable using data and KPIs.
• Calm, resilient under pressure and proactive in leadership.
