Store Manager – High‑Volume Retail – Luton

About the role

Lead a high‑performing, high‑volume store for one of the UK’s leading retail organisations. This senior, hands‑on position offers full ownership of store performance, team development and customer experience in the Luton area.

Key responsibilities

• Take full accountability for store sales, productivity and profitability.
• Lead, coach and develop the management team and wider store staff.
• Analyse KPIs and use data‑driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain exceptional standards of merchandising, stock control and customer service.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven management experience in fast‑paced retail (grocery, discount, convenience, high‑volume) or hospitality (restaurants, pubs, hotels, quick‑service, leisure).
• People‑focused with a genuine passion for developing colleagues.
• Commercially astute and comfortable working with data and KPIs.
• Calm, resilient under pressure and proactive in leadership style.
