About the role

Morrisons Daily is seeking an entrepreneurial, customer‑focused leader to run a busy convenience store in Eynesbury. As the store’s “shopkeeper,” you will treat the business as your own, driving sales, supporting colleagues and championing the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies to increase sales and manage costs.
• Lead the team to deliver best‑in‑class customer service aligned with the Morrisons brand promise.
• Oversee recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development of staff.
• Maintain health, safety, compliance and operational standards to ensure a safe, attractive shopping environment.
• Build strong relationships with the local community and act as a local champion.
• Provide flexible coverage, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends, to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Proven leadership ability in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment (retail, convenience or hospitality).
• Passion for people development, with a track record of coaching and motivating teams.
• Hands‑on attitude – willing to work alongside staff on daily store objectives.
• High personal resilience and ability to adapt to changing demands.
