Store Manager

About the role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead their Broadstairs showroom. The role combines commercial leadership with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences across a wide furniture range.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall showroom sales performance and consistently achieve targets.
• Drive store profitability by fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Recruit, onboard and develop Retail Sales Advisors and Assistant Store Managers.
• Provide clear instructions, feedback, training and performance reviews to the team.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, finance, FCA regulations, GDPR and stock control.
• Deliver an omnichannel customer journey using digital resources and marketing tools.
• Manage daily showroom operations and coordinate visual merchandising displays.
• Lead regular team meetings to communicate performance, new products and policies.

Required profile

• Strong commercial mindset with proven sales leadership.
• Ability to motivate, develop and inspire a retail team.
• Customer‑focused approach, placing the shopper at the centre of decisions.
• Clear communicator who can set expectations and provide constructive feedback.
