Store Manager

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Store Manager to lead a high‑performing retail team. Working 37.5 hours per week, you will drive turnover, revenue, and customer loyalty while applying lean principles to optimise store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a strong team, fostering a culture of excellent customer service.
• Monitor and improve financial KPIs such as wages, wastage, and shrinkage.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure colleagues understand the importance of loyalty.
• Set, communicate, and exceed sales and KPI targets, addressing performance issues promptly.
• Manage controllable costs within budget and plan store resources profitably.
• Collaborate with peers and Retail Support on stock, layout, promotions, training, and employee relations.
• Recruit, develop, and retain talent that reflects Ryman and TPRG values.

• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong commercial awareness with a proactive sales mindset.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
