Store Manager – Retail (Ashford)

About the role

You will lead the Ashford store as its permanent Store Manager, driving sales and operational excellence. Working within Reiss’s dynamic retail team, you’ll be responsible for achieving targets, delivering an elevated customer experience and maintaining the brand’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Planning the long‑term store goals.
• Managing overall store operations and performance.
• Leading the team to deliver exceptional, personalised customer service.
• Controlling stock levels and making key decisions to minimise loss.
• Implementing promotions, sales and merchandising standards.
• Recruiting, retaining and developing talent.
• Conducting regular performance and probation reviews.

Required profile

• Previous retail management experience in a comparable store size.
• Proven track record of improving overall business performance.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service through your team.
• Strong visual sense and commercial product‑management skills.
• Ability to balance customer service, operational, technical and visual duties.
• Confident working under pressure in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Self‑motivated, focused and driven to meet team and individual goals.
• Effective people‑manager who brings out the best in staff.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
