Store Manager – Retail (Hair & Beauty)

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Store Manager to lead our popular hair and beauty retail outlet in Oxford. You will be responsible for driving sales, delivering excellent customer service and developing a high‑performing team in a fast‑moving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure optimal store performance.
- Maintain high standards of customer service across the team.
- Train, mentor and coach staff, supporting skill development and career progression.
- Monitor store performance, produce regular reports and act on KPIs.
- Promote the store on social media and through local marketing, events and product demonstrations.
- Generate new customers via word‑of‑mouth, local outreach and in‑store activities.
- Set objectives, conduct appraisals and develop personal development plans for team members.
Required profile
- Proven retail experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Track record of managing KPIs, budgets and achieving sales targets.
- Confident leader who can motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong people skills and enjoyment of a retail sales environment.
- Experience in fashion, beauty, footwear or accessories is preferred.
