Store Manager – Retail Leadership in Romford

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead our Vision Express store at Gallows Corner, Romford. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing retail team.
• Create a positive culture that supports colleague growth.
• Own store results, KPIs and operational excellence.
• Oversee daily operations including rotas, compliance, stock management and store standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and act as the front‑line brand ambassador.
• Collaborate with local Store Managers and regional leaders.

Required profile

• Previous people‑management experience in a retail environment.
• Experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong commercial awareness and a proven track record of delivering results.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and coach teams.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to lead in a fast‑paced setting.
