Store Manager – Retail Leadership

About the role

Vision Express is seeking a Store Manager for its newly transformed Widnes store, where premium eyewear meets med‑tech innovation. You will lead a high‑profile location that showcases brands such as Ray‑Ban, Meta, Oakley, Prada and Nuance, driving exceptional customer experiences and store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop a high‑performing team with a clear, objective leadership style.
• Create a culture of exceptional customer service, focusing on NPS and customer outcomes.
• Take full ownership of store performance, driving sales, productivity and operational excellence.
• Use data, insight and customer feedback to continuously improve the in‑store experience.
• Embed consistent ways of working following the store’s transition to an operated model.
• Oversee all aspects of store operations including compliance, stock and team planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or senior retail leader.
• Strong people leader with an objective, performance‑focused approach.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer experience with a clear understanding of NPS.
• Commercially astute with the ability to interpret data and drive performance.
• Confident communicator who can engage, coach and challenge a team.
• Experience managing change or transitions is highly beneficial.
