Store Manager – Zara (London Area)

About the role

As a Zara General Manager, you own the full performance of a high‑volume, fast‑paced store. This hands‑on leadership role balances commercial results, team performance and customer experience, often under pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales, productivity and profitability using data‑led actions and KPIs.
• Ensure visual standards and a smooth customer journey across the shop floor, fitting rooms and queues.
• Maintain accurate and timely stock replenishment and an organised stockroom.
• Oversee cash handling, security, shrinkage, health & safety and overall store presentation.
• Build and develop a high‑performing team through clear expectations, regular feedback and succession planning.
• Plan workforce, manage the hours budget and create rotas that reflect trading patterns.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a fast‑paced, high‑volume retail store.
• Strong track record of delivering commercial results through people.
• Confidence managing large teams, including performance conversations.
• Solid operational discipline across stock, cash and compliance.
• Comfortable working hands‑on in a high‑pressure environment.
• Genuine interest in fashion, product and customer trends.
