Store Renewal Squad – Retail Refurbishment (Part‑time Contractor)

About the role

We are building a Store Renewal Squad to carry out a six‑month refit project across Dobbies garden centres. Working primarily from our Tewkesbury (or Woodcote Green) base, you will travel to stores nationwide to support renovation, visual merchandising and stock presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Price and label stock items according to set guidelines.
• Implement visual merchandising standards and follow planograms.
• Maintain housekeeping and store standards during the refit.
• Replenish shelves and ensure product availability.
• Follow set‑up guides and support the execution of the refit plan.
• Collaborate with the Project Lead and store teams to minimise customer impact.

Required profile

• Willingness to perform manual labour and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to travel frequently across the UK.
• Flexibility to work on a part‑time, fixed‑term basis.
• Previous refit experience is beneficial but not essential.

Required skills

• Ability to read and follow planograms and set‑up guides.
• Basic numeracy for stock pricing.
