Stores, Driver & Logistics Operations Assistant

About the role

This full‑time position supports warehouse operations at the Colnbrook site, handling stock receipt, storage, and dispatch while providing reliable collections and deliveries using company vehicles. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to keep the stores safe, organised, and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check, label and store incoming deliveries, including heavy items.
• Prepare orders, load and unload vehicles, and maintain accurate stock locations.
• Deliver and collect goods using company cars, vans, Luton and flat‑bed vehicles.
• Support airside and landside operations at Heathrow, subject to clearance.
• Keep warehouse and site areas clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle and MHE checks, reporting any defects.
• Manage customer stock such as PPE and uniforms, handling paperwork, portal updates, returns and repairs.
• Enter goods‑in data into Sage and carry out general administrative tasks.
• Participate in regular stock checks and maintain COSHH compliance.

Required profile

• Good communication, organisational and customer‑service abilities.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and basic IT proficiency.

Required skills

• Full clean UK driving licence (minimum two years).
• Forklift licence (preferred) and ability to operate forklift trucks.
• Experience using Sage accounting/stock software.
