About the role
We are seeking a reliable Stores Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Braintree. This temporary, full‑time position offers a stable environment where you will support daily stock movements and maintain an organised stores area.
Key responsibilities
- Process goods‑in, check deliveries and record stock accurately.
- Receive, inspect and book incoming stock into the inventory system.
- Maintain stock control, update records and complete necessary paperwork.
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring safe handling of goods.
- Keep the stores area clean and organised.
- Assist production and operational teams as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience in stores, warehouse or stock control.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced setting.
- Good organisational skills.
- Forklift licence is beneficial but not essential.
