Stores & Production Coordinator

About the role

The Stores & Production Coordinator provides essential administrative support across production, inventory and operational functions. Working primarily from the office, the role ensures accurate stock records, smooth material flow and effective communication between production, purchasing and management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records in company systems.
• Monitor stock levels, identify replenishment needs and coordinate material availability with production schedules.
• Process goods‑received documentation and update stock systems.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries and outstanding orders.
• Support production planning, scheduling activities and generate operational reports for management.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and assist with corrective actions.
• Assist purchasing administration and maintain internal information flow between departments.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and KPI tracking.

Required profile

• Previous experience in production administration, inventory control, planning or supply‑chain administration.
• Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Microsoft Excel
• ERP systems (experience with MRP or stock‑control software is advantageous)
