Strategic Account Manager

About the role

Adkwik is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to protect and grow revenue across a portfolio of roughly 300 existing customers in the UK and Ireland. You will act as a trusted partner, understanding client operations and delivering solutions that improve their outcomes. The role is full‑time, permanent and based on‑site in Sawston.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and profitably expand revenue from a portfolio of 300 industrial adhesive customers.
• Conduct daily outbound outreach and track meaningful conversations.
• Lead structured account reviews and quarterly business reviews with clear agendas, actions and 90‑day plans.
• Identify early signs of churn and intervene quickly to protect relationships.
• Develop and convert a robust expansion pipeline, uncovering opportunities across new products, applications, sites and processes.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.

Required profile

• Experience managing a portfolio of 200‑300 accounts, segmented using tiering (A/B/C) or similar.
• Proven track record of daily outbound calling and meaningful engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to run account reviews/QBRs with actionable outcomes.
• Strong competence in CRM systems, preferably HubSpot, including forecasting and data hygiene.
• Evidence of margin protection through price holding, value‑based concessions and discount management.
