Strategic Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a high‑calibre Business Development Manager to lead commercial expansion of our Dry Ice Manufacturing Systems across the EMEA region. The role is home‑based with extensive travel and offers the chance to shape growth strategy in fast‑moving sectors such as food delivery, food processing, pharma and biogas.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to identify priority vertical markets and geographic targets.
• Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles for complex, high‑ticket industrial manufacturing systems, from discovery to contract execution.
• Build trusted advisor relationships from shop‑floor staff to senior procurement and technical leaders.
• Negotiate and present proposals for national industrial contracts, especially in food processing and related markets.
• Work with internal technical and product teams to align sales strategy with product capabilities.
• Feed competitive and technical insights back to product development to maintain market leadership.
• Maintain pipeline reporting to provide real‑time sales forecasting and productivity data.

Required profile

• Proven track record of solution selling and large‑scale capital equipment deals, preferably in food processing or industrial gas sectors.
• Fluent in English and preferably another European language, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
• Excellent relationship‑building abilities and comfort engaging with all organisational levels.

• Base salary £70,000‑£75,000 per year plus bonus and commission (OTE up to £180,000).
