Strategic Business Planner (AVP) – Japanese Speaking

About the role

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Strategic Business Planner (AVP) with Japanese language proficiency to support the Capital Market & Advisory and Global Markets departments. The role is based in Cubitt Town, Greater London and is a temporary assignment within the Strategic Planning Department.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in management reporting and business promotion initiatives across the EMEA region.
• Create and review impactful reports in English and Japanese for senior management.
• Support regular reporting to committees and coordinate key meetings.
• Foster strong relationships and coordinate effectively with stakeholders across various departments.

Required profile

• Strong finance and accounting knowledge with interest in Corporate & Investment Banking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Japanese.
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Professional presentation style and confident interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
