Strategic Buyer – Procurement & Sourcing

About the role
We are seeking a Strategic Buyer to join our growing procurement team in the Bristol area. This hybrid role will focus on supplier management, cost reduction and strategic sourcing across key commodities within an established engineering organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance.
- Deliver cost‑saving and value‑engineering initiatives.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
- Prepare RFQs and negotiate supplier agreements.
Required profile
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
- Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Good analytical and commercial awareness.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
