Strategic Planning & Insights Lead

About the role

Join a nationally recognised charity as the Strategic Planning & Insights Lead and turn ambitious strategy into tangible organisational change. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to design and embed planning and performance frameworks that guide decision‑making for years to come.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of operational plans that translate strategic priorities into clear, deliverable actions.
• Create and maintain KPIs, dashboards and regular reports that provide senior leaders with actionable insight.
• Monitor strategic projects and change initiatives, flagging risks, trends and opportunities.
• Partner with Finance and operational leaders to align planning with budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Coach managers across the organisation to use data effectively and embed performance‑driven behaviours.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic planning, performance management or business transformation within a complex organisation.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, comfortable working with senior executives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and drive change across functions.
