Strategy Analyst / FP&A

About the role

We are partnering with a leading international (re)insurance firm to find a Strategy Analyst / FP&A to join their high‑performing Enterprise Planning & Analysis team in London. The role offers exposure to finance, underwriting, actuarial and executive leadership, allowing you to influence business planning, forecasting and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support annual planning, budgeting and rolling forecasts across the business.
• Deliver commercial and financial analysis that shapes strategic decisions.
• Produce high‑quality reporting and dashboards for executive leadership and the Board.
• Analyse business performance, forecast movements and identify key drivers.
• Partner with Finance, Underwriting, Actuarial and other functions to improve planning and reporting.
• Develop and enhance planning models, reporting tools and forecasting processes.
• Support strategic projects and provide insight to senior leadership on performance.

Required profile

• ACA qualified (preferred) or equivalent.
• Approximately 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, strategy, actuarial or commercial analysis.
• Experience within insurance, reinsurance or the London Market.
• Strong analytical mindset and commercial curiosity.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, international environment with high visibility.
