Strategy and Operations Manager (FMCG)

About the role

We are seeking a Strategy and Operations Manager to join our merchant operations function in London. Reporting to a senior operations lead, you will help scale merchant‑facing products and partnerships, driving operational excellence and data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage merchant products and service partnerships from concept through to scalable playbooks.
• Own and progress strategic partnerships, including go‑to‑market planning and pipeline follow‑ups.
• Identify and resolve friction points in the merchant journey, addressing operational and service issues.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, legal, marketing, sales, and operations teams to deliver improvements.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in strategy, operations, or consulting roles.
• Background in fast‑paced tech, marketplace, or FMCG environments.
• Strong ownership mindset with a track record of optimising complex operational processes.
• Solid analytical capability, including spreadsheet modelling and comfort working with data.

What we offer

• Day rate of £200 for a 4‑month fixed‑term contract starting June 2026.
• Hybrid work arrangement – three days per week onsite in London.
