Strategy Consultant - Public Affairs

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Strategy Consultant to support public‑affairs projects for a leading professional services firm. The role runs for four months starting 1 September 2026 and combines research, analysis and client‑facing deliverables in a hybrid London setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage surveys, and conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews and desk‑based analysis.
• Analyse data to identify trends, insights and strategic implications for clients.
• Produce clear, structured PowerPoint presentations summarising findings and recommendations.
• Support the development of client‑ready reports and contribute to the overall narrative of project outputs.

Required profile

• Approximately 3 years of consulting experience, preferably with exposure to public affairs or government‑focused work.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with experience working with data and structured methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex ideas clearly.
• Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable working in fast‑paced, unstructured environments.
