Strategy Manager – Global Markets

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Strategy Manager to join its Global Markets team in London. You will work across the Strategy & Operations function and collaborate with business units and regional teams to address the company’s most important commercial opportunities and challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the Global Markets execution framework aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Identify and prioritize strategic initiatives across 200+ markets.
• Support planning and investment‑prioritisation for regional market plans, including growth algorithms and country‑plan frameworks.
• Develop project roadmaps and lead cross‑functional initiatives such as go‑to‑market, cross‑border, segment, and market re‑entry strategies.
• Structure ambiguous problems, derive data‑driven insights, and create compelling presentations for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with diverse teams across regions and time zones to drive implementation of recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a top‑tier university.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in hypothesis testing and quantitative/qualitative analysis.
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to senior audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to build trust‑based relationships.
