Structural Engineer – Hybrid, Competitive Salary

About the role

The position is with a globally recognised multidisciplinary consultancy based in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will join a collaborative Building Structures team of around 20 engineers and technicians, working on high‑end commercial, residential, education, industrial and public sector projects.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of structural design packages from concept through to detailed design.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically challenging and high‑profile projects.
• Develop technical expertise across a range of local developments and flagship national schemes.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience within a structural consultancy environment.
• Motivation to work towards chartership or to pursue it.

Required skills

• Proficiency with structural design software.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes.
