Structural Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join a well‑established consultancy in Banbury, Oxfordshire. You will work on a variety of projects from concept through to completion, collaborating closely with experienced engineers and gaining both technical and client‑facing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design and analysis of structures across steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
• Develop design calculations and drawings from concept stage to final delivery.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality solutions.
• Engage with clients and other design professionals to communicate design intent.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years’ experience in a structural engineering consultancy.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status (or planning to).
• Proactive, enthusiastic and keen to develop technical skills.

Required skills

• Design of steel structures.
• Design of concrete structures.
• Design of timber structures.
• Design of masonry structures.
• Proficiency with industry‑standard structural design software.
