Structural Engineer – Lead Role in New Division

About the role

We are launching a new structural engineering division within a fast‑growing, design‑led property and architecture group. You will work directly with architects, clients and contractors on live residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structural design from concept through to construction.
• Produce structural calculations, construction drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate closely with architects to develop integrated, buildable solutions.
• Manage multiple live projects simultaneously.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define systems and quality standards for the new division.
• Support early‑stage business development as the service grows.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of UK‑based experience as a Structural Engineer.
• Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE or CEng) or near chartership with a clear timeline.
• Experience delivering residential and commercial projects in the UK.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and standards.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent communication with architects, contractors and clients.
