Structural Engineer (Maternity Cover)

About the role

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our growing consultancy in Sevenoaks on an 8‑month maternity cover. This full‑time position offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of residential and commercial projects and may lead to a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver structural engineering solutions from concept through construction.
• Work on residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with UK standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Graduate level up to 2 years post‑graduate experience (Graduate+2).
• Knowledge of UK design standards and building regulations.
• Experience with structural analysis and design software is advantageous.

Required skills

• Tekla Structural Designer
• Tedds (or similar structural analysis software)
