Student Recruitment & Conversion Manager

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Student Recruitment & Conversion Manager to drive our international student recruitment strategy in Manchester. You will shape campaigns, nurture stakeholder relationships and ensure a smooth journey from enquiry to enrolment, helping students achieve their academic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch innovative recruitment campaigns targeting international markets.
• Manage relationships with agents, university partners and internal teams to build robust enrolment pipelines.
• Optimise the applicant experience, guiding prospects from initial contact through to successful enrolment.
• Analyse recruitment data to make commercially sound decisions and improve conversion rates.
• Ensure compliance with UKVI regulations and internal policies.
• Lead, coach and develop team members as needed.

Required profile

• Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven track record in international student recruitment and pipeline management.
• Strong communicator and presenter, comfortable engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities.
• Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data for decision‑making.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude and solid problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary range £34,000‑£38,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
• Permanent contract after successful probation.
• Hybrid working model – typically three days in the Manchester office.
