Studio Manager – Retail Brand (Manchester)

About the role

We are looking for a Studio Manager to lead our in‑house photography studio for a well‑established UK e‑commerce and retail brand. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality visual content that supports product launches, seasonal campaigns and overall brand strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day studio operations, from planning to final delivery.
• Manage photography, retouching and workflow schedules to meet tight deadlines.
• Coordinate studio resources, including photographers, stylists, retouchers and freelancers.
• Implement AI tools and new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Maintain equipment, health‑and‑safety standards and inventory.
• Develop and refine studio processes for higher productivity.
• Track budgets, resource allocation and production output.
• Collaborate with Marketing, eCommerce, Social and Creative teams to align timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in studio management, studio operations or content production, preferably in eCommerce, retail or homewares.
• Proven track record leading creative teams and managing freelancers.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end photography and content production workflows.
