Sub-Agent – Construction Site Coordination

About the role

We are seeking a Sub‑Agent to join our United Utilities Framework across the North West of England. In this role you will support the project delivery team by coordinating site activities, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining quality standards on construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, confirming work aligns with project plans, specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate engineers, forepersons and subcontractors to keep workflow smooth and on schedule.
• Monitor progress against programme milestones and implement corrective actions to address delays.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks and risk assessments to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support resource management, including labour, materials and equipment, to maximise efficiency.

Required profile

• Experience in site management, civil engineering or construction supervision.
• Strong organisational ability to coordinate teams and resources effectively.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies and health & safety regulations.
• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel between project sites as required.
