Sub‑contractor Electrician – Clean Room Fit‑out

About the role

We are seeking a self‑employed electrician to join a clean‑room fit‑out project in the Luton/Dunstable area. The role starts immediately and offers a competitive hourly rate of £23‑£28, with overtime for Saturday work.

Key responsibilities

• Install containment systems, metal trunking, baskets and trays.
• Fit trapeze support structures and use Lindapter systems to hang rods from the ceiling.
• Progress to more complex wiring and second‑fix installations after the initial containment phase.
• Read and interpret electrical and technical drawings.
• Maintain high quality and safety standards on site.

Required profile

• Up‑to‑date certifications: NVQ Level 3, ECS, 18th Edition, AM2, IPAF operator licence, CSCS card.
• Self‑employed (CIS) with own tools and van.
• Available to start ASAP, preferably by Tuesday 7 July.
• Customer‑focused, detail‑oriented and able to work both independently and within a small team.
