Subsidence Engineer

About the role

A renowned loss adjusting firm seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to strengthen its adjusting services with specialist subsidence expertise. The position is fully remote, with occasional site investigations as required.

Key responsibilities

• Handle subsidence claims and provide technical support to adjusters.
• Investigate and manage claims, conduct site visits, and develop case management plans.
• Prepare detailed reports covering specialist aspects, policy analysis, liability, quantum, and future actions.
• Calculate and agree settlement amounts and produce specialist or final reports.

Required profile

• Professionally qualified Civil or Structural Engineer (Chartered status or working towards chartership).
• Relevant experience in civil/structural engineering, claims investigation, surveying, loss adjusting, or a related technical field.
• ACII and/or ACILA qualifications are advantageous.
• Full clean driving licence.
