Supply Chain Business Controller – Broughton

About the role

This position joins Airbus' Industrial Supply Chain Business Management Team in Broughton, supporting supply, logistics and transportation operations across commercial aircraft sites. You will work closely with finance, HR and operational teams to drive performance, resource planning and continuous improvement in a complex, international manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support Operational Planning activities in partnership with Central Finance.
• Monitor budgets and resource plans, delivering clear performance reporting.
• Lead the Supply Chain Operations resource‑management network.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance on workforce planning and resource strategies.
• Produce analysis, reports and decision‑making papers for business planning.
• Provide insights on workforce demographics, attrition, diversity and future resource needs.
• Support make‑versus‑buy and competitiveness projects across Airbus locations.
• Improve financial tracking, reporting processes and performance visibility.
• Contribute to governance activities and drive continuous process improvements.
• Assist in developing digital tools, dashboards and reporting solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business control, financial planning, resource management or operational support.
• Background in a large, complex organisation, preferably within aerospace or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to build effective relationships across a wide stakeholder base.
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and performance dashboards.
• Ability to influence decision‑making and communicate insights clearly.

• Competitive hourly rates: £21.68 PAYE or £29.00 Umbrella.
