Supply Chain Coordinator – Hybrid (6‑8 months FT)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee stock levels and optimise supply chain operations on a 6‑8 month fixed‑term basis. The role is hybrid, combining office work in Hertfordshire with occasional visits to warehouses and supplier sites.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and monitor current stock levels to meet customer demand.
• Analyse stock movements using reports and spreadsheets.
• Manage day‑to‑day relationships with suppliers, warehouse staff, transport and shipping agents.
• Place and track orders for stock replenishment, ensuring timely delivery.
• Support traceability exercises and maintain product record accuracy.
• Assist in implementing Health & Safety standards within the supply chain.
• Review and coordinate with storage, transport and import service providers to ensure compliance with product safety policies.
• Uphold internal policies and procedures to achieve operational excellence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain management or a similar role.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and product safety compliance.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
